V ljubljanskem Grand Hotelu Union je potekala strokovna konferenca o razvoju poslovnih nepremičnin, ki je v ospredje postavila ponovno rast ljubljanskega trga komercialnih nepremičnin ter vse večji pomen sodobnih poslovnih prostorov pri razvoju mesta. Udeleženci so poudarili, da trg pisarniških nepremičnin v prestolnici beleži opazno okrevanje, nizko stopnjo nezasedenosti najkakovostnejših objektov in naraščajoče povpraševanje domačih ter mednarodnih podjetij.
Poseben poudarek je bil namenjen preobrazbi nekdanjih industrijskih in degradiranih območij v sodobne večnamenske poslovne četrti. Med ključnimi projekti so izpostavili Emonika, ki skupaj z drugimi urbanimi prenovami spreminja podobo mesta, poslovne lokacije in investicijske priložnosti. Govorci so poudarili tudi pomen infrastrukture, urbanističnega načrtovanja ter finančnih modelov pri ustvarjanju novih poslovnih središč.
Na konferenci so sodelovali predstavniki gospodarstva, nepremičninskih investitorjev, urbanistični strokovnjaki in predstavniki finančnega sektorja. Med njimi so bili državni sekretar mag. Miran Gajšek, predstavniki OTP banka, mednarodnih nepremičninskih družb ter strokovnjaki za trajnostni razvoj in upravljanje poslovnih objektov.
