V ljubljanskih Križankah je v sklopu projekta Red Bull Symphonic slovenski tehno veteran Uroš Umek prvič nastopil v sodelovanju s simfoničnim orkestrom in pripravil edinstven glasbeni dogodek. Koncert je združil preciznost elektronske produkcije z mogočnostjo klasičnega zvoka ter ustvaril povsem novo glasbeno izkušnjo, ki je navdušila občinstvo.
Umek je s skrbno izbranimi skladbami, preoblečenimi v simfonične aranžmaje, dokazal, da lahko tehno in klasika sobivata na istem odru. Čeprav na videz nezdružljiva svetova, sta v prepletu ritmov, orkestralne dinamike in elektronskega pulza ustvarila presenetljivo harmoničen »fusion«. Dogodek je obiskovalcem ponudil vpogled v povsem nove zvočne pokrajine, hkrati pa pokazal, kako odprtost in sodelovanje rojevata inovativne umetniške izraze.
S tem koncertom je tudi Slovenija dobila svojo različico svetovno uspešnega projekta, ki bo še dolgo ostal zapisan kot mejnik v povezovanju elektronske in klasične glasbe.
